Farmers Markets

While many of Tualatin Valley’s farmers markets close for the season at the end of September, the Beaverton Farmers Market continues to attract visitors from all over for its fresh produce, artisan foods and festive atmosphere. The Beaverton market is Tualatin Valley’s only year-round outdoor market.

What’s in season? Apples, heirloom tomatoes and plums, bell, poblano and sweet peppers, leeks and onions and more. Even if you don’t buy any produce, there are plenty of farm-fresh treats to purchase, such as jams and jellies, honey, and even soaps.

Pumpkin Patches & Corn Mazes

October is the time for pumpkins, and in Tualatin Valley, beat the Portland area crowds and the craziness and spend more time enjoying the festive fields of the countryside. Pick a pumpkin from a patch. Get lost in a corn maze. Play a game of pumpkin bowling. Enjoy the sights, sounds and smell of autumn.
